Buyer Support (StandardAero - Quer�taro, M�xico)


A Buyer Support position is available in Belcan Queretaro, M�xico. This is a full-time position helping manage the tactical and strategic delivery of aerospace related parts. The position comes with full benefits. The work will be performed onsite from the Belcan Mexico Office. Job Duties: - Work closely with planning, engineering, and production to understand demand requirements. - Convert forecasts into procurement plans. - Review MRP output daily or weekly as needed. - Align purchase order (PO) placements with forecast changes. - Manage safety stock levels for long-lead or critical components. - Issue accurate PO based on requirements and ensure terms are understood by suppliers. - Create and approve POs in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS). - Drive year-over-year cost improvement. - Understand cost drivers (labor, material, logistics) to negotiate effectively. - Maintain the right balance to avoid shortages without creating excess. - Logistics and delivery coordination ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, Coordinate freight conditions, Monitor supplier shipping methods and tracking info. - Risk management and problem resolution, Identify risks early and implement corrective actions, Use root cause analysis for recurring issues (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone). - Collaboration with Cross-functional teams, Work with engineering on new product introductions (NPI), Align with quality on nonconformance issues, Support finance. - Ensure regulatory, contractual, and procedural adherence, Ensure supplier compliance (ISO, AS9100, ITAR) where applicable. Follow ethical sourcing guidelines.Required Qualifications:* One to four years of experience with data analysis in a manufacturing environment* Associate degree preferred: Business, Data or Engineering* Background in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering Preferred* MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint* Excellent communication skillsAs an employee with Belcan, you will be part of one of the largest engineering firms in the world.
