Job Title: Assembler - Floater (Hose Coil/Pressure Test and Hose AssemblyPay rate: $18.75/hr + shift differential $2Location: Mansfield, TXZip Code: 76063Area code: 817 Shift: 3rd shift (11:30 PM - 7:30 AM) - Mon thru Fri) - MANDATORY OVERTIMEStart Date: Right AwayTags: #MansfieldJobs; #Assemblerjobs;Benefits:* Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision* 401k* On the job training / cross-training* Life Insurance, disability insurance* Voluntary life insurance for family members available.* Accident and critical illness insurance optional.* Scheduled performSUMMARY OF POSITION:Safety operator equipment within the Hose Assembly Value Stream at acceptable quality and productivity levels.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectationsIdentify any special instructions or customer requirementsPull set-up sheet from computer to select proper tooling, crimp dimensions, drawings, pressure ratingsPulling components to process orders and inspect tubing or hose prior to processCheck all dimensions of hose and crimps being processed against the available drawings and or crimp requirementsAssist in maintaining an accurate inventoryMake labels for hose product and properly complete production reportsPressure testing of hose assemblyAdhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate recordsMaintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5s practicesDetect and report problem areas or unusual conditions to the Value Stream Team Lead.Perform related and other duties assigned by the Value Stream Team Lead. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education/Experience required:High School diploma or GEDProduction work preferred but not required.On the job training from 1 to 8 weeks or extend to 10 weeks if needed.Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Sound decision making skills.Good math, reading, writing skills.Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention.Ability to work well in a team environment.Skills/Competencies:1. Basic computer skills.2. Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action.3. Vision: Near acuity and accommodation for reading information to perform job tasks.4. Requires constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail. WORKING CONDITIONS:The employee may be subject to:High noise levels from operating machines and equipment.Physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels.Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection)Standing is required for extended periods of time.
