LEAD HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)

You will serve as a LEAD HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the Exceptional Family Member (EFM) Branch of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.


  • You will manage a human resources program through a staff of human resources specialists and assistants.
  • You will resolve staffing and recruitment management problems throughout an organization.
  • You will collaborate with different program coordinators (e.g., Exceptional Family Program [EFMP]) to serve as a liaison for service members and their dependents.
  • You will present information on the Exceptional Family Member Program transfers to Active Duty and Reserve military personnel.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Review and post military billets for member assignment in appropriate personnel systems. 2) Prepare a variety of written documents and correspondence. 3) Assist with PCS placement of officer/enlisted service members in EFM program. 4) Utilizes applicable personnel databases to update officer/enlisted master files and to generate assignment data and reports. 5) Reviews, researches and resolves issues related to military orders. .
