Electronics Mechanic

However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electronics Mechanic ~ without more than normal supervision. Independently install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronics equipment of moderate complexity such as video surveillance equipment and/or fire alarm equipment systems. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Physical Efforts: The work requires light to moderate physical effort, lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds. Assistance is usually available for items heavier than 40 pounds. Work is performed in sitting positions, but requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping. high work is occasionally required. Working Conditions: Work is usually done inside, with occasional work outside in poor weather conditions. Employee is subject to injuries such as electric shock, cuts and bruises, as well as burns from electrical equipment or soldering irons.
